Amy grew up just outside of Deweese, Nebraska, and graduated summa cum laude from Hastings College with a Bachelor’s degree in both psychology and human services administration as well as a minor in sociology. After working towards her Master’s degree in Community Counseling at the University of Nebraska-Kearney, Amy received her Juris Doctor degree with distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law in 2004. Amy’s areas of practice with the firm include criminal defense, personal injury law, family law, civil litigation, insurance defense, collections, and juvenile law. Amy is a member of the Nebraska Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association, the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys, and the American Association for Justice. Amy also currently serves as President of the Adams County Bar Association and is a Chairman of the Adams County Mental Health Board. She also is a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Deweese and currently serves as the secretary and treasurer of the Deweese Community Club.
