Bob grew up in Omaha and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration in 1986.  He received his law degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 1989.  Before joining the firm in 1991, he served as Deputy Hall County Attorney in Grand Island, Nebraska.  He served on the Nebraska State Bar Association House of Delegates from 1994 to 2006.  Bob also served as Executive Council for the Nebraska State Bar Association from 2002 to 2008.  He was President of the Adams County Bar Association from 1993 to 2000.  Bob serves on the Board of Directors and as Committee Chairman of the Hastings Chapter of Ducks Unlimited.  He is an Ambassador for the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce.  He also is active in several Masonic bodies, serving as Temple Attorney from 1992 to 2002.  He is a past Gold Coat President of the Hastings Noon Sertoma Club.  Bob is the past Chairman for the Adams County Mental Health Board.  He is a member of the American Association for Justice, the Nebraska Defense Counsel Association and the Nebraska Criminal Defense Attorneys Association.  He serves on the Board of Directors for the Nebraska Association of Trial Attorneys from 2008 to present.  Bob has served on the Nebraska Judicial Resources Commission from 2006 to present.  He served on the Board of Directors of Lochland Country Club from 2002 to 2008.  Bob has been on the Faith Lutheran Church Stewardship Board since 2007 to present.  Bob’s areas of concentration are personal injury, insurance defense, civil litigation, collections, family law and criminal defense.
